Having
been a shoe addict all my life, I have taken on shoe-making
as a hobby. When Kiefer was born, my now 4
year-old monkey, I realized how difficult it was to find a pair
of shoes that fit infants'/early toddlers'
feet. Right then, I set out to design a pair of shoes, targeting
0 to 24 months, that:
• Fit a variety of feet shapes (various widths and instep
thicknesses).
• Are easy for parents to put on and take off. I know
how frustrating it is to get a pair of shoes on little tiny
feet, especially when they are grumpy and when you are in a
hurry.
• Are environmentally friendly
• Have the highest degree of comfort and ease of care.
In addition, the shoes will also feature an educational
aspect, in which the shoes can be worn with different "pages",
stimulating the child with colorful art and letters and numbers.
After 2 years of working on the design and the patent, while
selecting the best fabric and material for the shoes, I decided
to launch ScooterBees. |
